FAQ
Common questions.
How long does a typical driveway take?
Usually 1–3 days, depending on surface preparation, cleaning and the weather.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we have clear access. We do need a standard outside water tap and a power point.
Is it OK during water restrictions?
Yes, within the flow-rate limits. We use commercial high-efficiency pressure units with full wastewater bunding and wet-vac extraction, in line with DWER regulations.
How long does sealing last, and when can I drive on it?
Sealing typically lasts 3–5 years depending on traffic. You can walk on it after 24 hours. Keep cars off for 7 days so it can fully cure.
Is it safe for pets, plants and lawns?
Yes. All chemical washes and acid etching are neutralised on site (pH 6.5–8.5) before rinsing, and nearby gardens are pre-wet. Keep pets inside while we work.
What if it rains?
Work is booked around clear, dry weather. If rain is forecast, we'll reschedule with you.
What colours can I choose?
We don't tie ourselves to one paint maker. Products are picked to suit your surface and how it's used, so we'll go through colours and finishes with you when we quote.
Do you show prices? How does payment work?
Every job is quoted, because every surface is different. A 30% deposit is due 7 days before the start date. We take bank transfer, PayID, credit/debit card and cash. Driveway Restore is not registered for GST.
Where do you work?
Across the Perth metropolitan area.
